As planned, we stayed at home today. Had a bit of a wander around to see what we could find. There isn’t much to look at here. We took ourselves up to the tower at the top of the town, which is undergoing some work on its approaches. It is about the only place in town that isn’t already gentrified.
Bought our daily bread – there is no way you can use yesterday’s bread for anything other than hammering nails – even by evening it is suffering from terminal dryness.
