A home day today, Karen waiting for the next version of the book to appear. When this arrived, it meant the rest of the day, and indeed right through to 1:30am working away at what is hopefully the last major review.
On coming back from collecting our bread, we managed to find the crepes and cellar place open, so stopped off to collect a bottle of the local wine. Choice as normal of red, white and rosé, from which we chose the rosé. It was the grand price of 1.40€ per litre, and perfectly good. Indeed we had got halfway through it by nightfall!
We keep trying to hold the pool's temperature up by opening the cover when it is sunny, and closing it by evening, but all we are managing to do is to stop it falling any more below 22 degrees.
