Thursday 8 October - Laroque

Having had a very busy and long day yesterday, we had ourselves a day off, helped by the weather being very gloomy and wet. Yes, it actually rained on and off most of the day.

 

Sandy, Lynette and I did the normal 6km walk Karen and I had done before, while Karen had a real push on the book trying to get through the last major editing. All up, Karen worked 16 hours on the book today. We had no idea she would be working so much, so late, on sorting it. We also feel sorry for Hannah back in wet and windy Wellington, having to work long nights to put Karen’s instructions into effect. We’ll be very glad to see the last of the book until November when it launches.
